Texas Department of Information Resources Deliverables Based Information Technology Services (DBITS) Award

Allied is one of the first vendors selected to contract with the State of Texas through the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to provide Deliverables- Based Information Technology Services to Texas State and Local governments.
Using this contract vehicle, Texas State and Local government agencies can streamline and reduce time in procuring and contracting for deliverables-based information technology services. Agencies can negotiate and contract directly with Allied Consultants, Inc. for deliverables-based information technology services with a contract value of less than $10 million. The services Allied Consultants, Inc. provides under this contract vehicle include:

Application Maintenance and Support
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Project Management
Application Development

Allied looks forward to doing work at many of its existing and new agencies using this new contract mechanism.

New Initiatives for Allied Consultants

Austin Habitat for Humanity works with people everywhere, from all walks of life, to build affordable, quality houses for families in need to eliminate poverty housing, one family at a time. This past weekend the Texas government technology organization called TASSCC participated in a construction project with other members of the technology profession and its Texas state government clients. Allied participated in this event and was involved in the complete re-roofing of a home in Austin. Allied will continue to support community efforts.

Texas County and District Retirement System

Allied Consultants, Inc. recently signed a contract to provide services to the Texas County & District Retirement System. The Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS)is the primary source for group pension plans for all counties and districts in Texas. Its excellent reputation is based on solid concepts and valued benefits, effective service delivery, efficient operations, integrity, consistent performance and customer service. Allied will be assisting with a business process project.

The Texas Department of Information Resources has awarded Allied the Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract

Allied Consultants has been awarded an Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC) with the Texas Department of Information Resources. This contract began September 1, 2009 and will continue through August 31, 2011. Allied has established itself as one of the top staff services providers to Texas government clients and is extremely excited about our selection.
